Chicago’s injury report is already growing, after the Sky announced forward Rickea Jackson tore her ACL ahead of tonight’s home opener against Dallas.

  • “We’re devastated that Rickea suffered this injury, but we are confident she will make a full recovery,” Chicago GM Jeff Pagliocca said in a team statement. “Rickea was playing at an All-Star and All-Defensive level early in the season.”

  • Jackson joins Courtney Vandersloot, DiJonai Carrington, and Azurá Stevens on the Sky’s injured list, while center Elizabeth Williams is listed as questionable. (See full report)

Ups and downs: Despite Chicago’s setback, both of tonight’s teams are off to promising starts, currently sitting at or above .500 after each going 10-34 in 2025.

  • The 3-1 Sky owns the league’s No. 1 defensive rating through four games, while Dallas’s attack is averaging 88.3 points per game with two wins.

  • “We still have a good team,” Sky head coach Tyler Marsh said Tuesday. “We still have valuable pieces in that locker room that are ready to go out and perform.” (See full rankings)

The Charge isn’t giving up the ship, after Ottawa stole Monday’s Game 3 from Montréal to force tonight’s potential PWHL finals decider down 2-1.

  • The Charge fended off elimination in front of a playoff-record crowd, with Peyton Hemp finding the 1-1 equalizer in the third period, before local hero Rebecca Leslie hit the game-winner to secure the 2-1 comeback win.

  • “I’m honestly at a loss for words,” Leslie said afterwards. “It’s such an honor to play for my hometown, to see a record-breaking crowd tonight.” (Watch full highlights)

Big picture: Only one team has ever bounced back from 2-0 in a best-of-five PWHL postseason series — Minnesota in 2024 — and the Victoire is aiming to not let that happen again.

  • History could be on Ottawa’s side in tonight’s Canadian Tire Centre showdown, after the home team took nine of this season’s 12 playoff games.

  • “I think both teams are desperate to find a way to come out with the win,” said Montréal head coach Kori Cheverie. “It’s a long game, it’s a chess match.” (See full recap)

Fever guard Caitlin Clark is all-in on Indianapolis, as the Indy 500 named the WNBA superstar this year’s grand marshal — giving her ceremonial starting command over Sunday’s Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

  • Clark wasn’t able to accept the honor in her first two seasons due to Indiana’s schedule, but will get her first taste of racing action this weekend.

  • “I’m looking forward to experiencing an iconic piece of what makes Indiana so special,” she said in a statement. (See full report)

Big shoes: Clark is not the first Indiana player to serve as grand marshal, following in the footsteps of 2012 WNBA champion Tamika Catchings.

  • “To experience that as the grand marshal, it’s one of the highest honors you can get in the state of Indiana,” Fever coach Stephanie White said.
