WNBA award debates are already in full swing, as familiar favorites and fresh faces make serious cases for MVP, Rookie of the Year, and other top honors.

  • Four-time MVP A’ja Wilson hasn’t let up, leading the league with 25.7 points and 2.2 blocks per game while sitting Top 5 in rebounds and 3-point percentage.

  • Indiana sharpshooter Caitlin Clark isn’t far behind, ranking third in scoring and second in assists, while leading rebounders Angel Reese and Jessica Shepard battle for a shot at Defensive Player of the Year. (See full stats)

Bright futures: Minnesota first-year Olivia Miles is dominating the Rookie of the Year odds — while also landing on a few MVP shortlists.

  • The 23-year-old leads her class with 18.5 points and 4.9 assists per game, making her the overwhelming ROY favorite at -2500 while climbing the MVP ranks at +1200.

No. 5 Dallas is finding its way, pulling off one of the season’s more improbable victories in Saturday’s 93-92 comeback win over No. 13 Chicago.

  • Dallas overcame a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit, as Li Yueru sank two free-throws with 12.5 seconds left to secure the Wings’ first and final lead.

  • “We were just trying to attack that way and just chip away, not hit any home runs, but one possession at a time, dig in defensively, get what we want, execute offensively, and just keep huddling,” guard Paige Bueckers said postgame. (Watch full highlights)

Big picture: The matchup highlighted two teams moving in different directions, as Dallas won seven of its last 10 games while the Sky dropped 10 of its last 11.

  • Chicago questioned the officiating after its latest collapse, with center Kamilla Cardoso and guard Sydney Taylor both fouling out late in the game.

  • “Did we make some mistakes down the stretch? Of course,” said head coach Tyler Marsh. “At the same time, we can’t have those types of calls called on us and then the non-calls go against us.” (See full clip)

No. 3 Atlanta is on a tear, notching back-to-back weekend wins over No. 7 Indiana to surge up the WNBA standings on an 11-4 record.

  • Star forward Angel Reese made history on Saturday, becoming the fastest player in league history to record 1,000 rebounds — 10 games faster than icon Tina Charles’s previous 89-game record.

  • “[Rebounding] gives us more points, it gives us more opportunities,” Reese said. “Being able to come out and do what I do every single night just shows my consistency.” (Watch full highlights)

Scouting report: The Dream carries a three-game winning streak into tonight’s matchup against No. 10 Toronto, as the 2026 expansion side sits just below the playoff line on an 8-8 record.

  • The Tempo will be without leading scorer Brittney Sykes due to a plantar fascia injury, instead relying on backcourt standout Marina Mabrey after she dropped a career-high 37 points in Friday’s 101-97 win over the Sun.

  • “Looked like I was watching Diana Taurasi out there,” coach Sandy Brondello said of Mabrey. “Just how effortless it is, and just how fast she can shoot, the confidence she has — we’re lucky to have her.” (Watch full highlights)
